    One of our absolute favourites recently. Brianna Wiest shares lots of food for thought in this book. A must-read for everyone. 

  2. The Sympathizer by Viet Thanh Nguyen
    Heading to Vietnam? If you are, then this is the book to read. A long-time bestseller and one of the best ways to get a first sense of the country and its culture. 

  3. Better Than Before: What I Learned About Making and Breaking Habits ― to Sleep More, Quit Sugar, Procrastinate Less, and Generally Build a Happier Life by Gretchen Rubin
    Find it difficult to break through your habits and create new ones? In this book, the author takes us through our habits and patterns and explains why some parts are easy and some not and what it takes to overcome them.

    This book is a true gem. Unfortunately, the author passed away at a very young age, but the wisdom she shared before created a legacy that will accompany us for a very long time.

  5. Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts
    One of THE novels and a must-read. Great story, great characters and all the bits and pieces you need for a grand book.

  6. Never Split the Difference: Negotiating as if Your Life Depended on It by Chris Voss
    One of our definitive recommendations if you want to take the next level. Lots of great advice. Even i you think you know, sometimes a reminder is all what it takes. 

  7. Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert
    Not only for the creative, but for everyone who wants to live life to the fullest. Again, the author takes us on a journey and this time it's all about making your very own way on your very own terms.

  8. Die letzte Welt by Christoph Ransmayr (in German only)
    One of the most beautiful books ever written. A grand novel and a very rare gem in the world of literature. The book has been out for decades. Truly, literature at its best. 

  9. The Messy Middle by Scott Belsky
    Know how it feels to be stuck in the middle in any project? Then this is the book for you. No matter what project you are currently tackling in life, this book helps you through the worst part of any great dream - the messy middle.

  10. Der Trafikant by Robert Seethaler (in German only)
    In cinemas right now in the German speaking countries, this book has everything to fall for it from page one. A great love story paired with even greater courage in difficult times. 

  11. The most powerful woman in the room is you: command an audience and sell your way to success by Lydia Fenet
    In her book, she shares all the insights from her way up to the top level in a very traditional and male-dominated industry. Looking to breaking through the glass ceiling and need some inspiration? Here you go. 

  12. We should all be feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
    We really have nothing to add here. Just buy and read this book. And then hand it over to your partners, kids, parents and co-workers. 

  13. Das größere Wunder by Thomas Glavinic (in German only)
    The greatest love-story written by one of the most exciting contemporary authors in the German speaking area and maybe even globally. Great, greater, the greatest.
