Our Top Picks for…Modena
Foodies will make a jump now. Modena is one of the lesser frequented cities in Italy, but oh boy, let us tell you, this city is a true gem. Not known as a touristic hot spot (a definitive perk), the area is part of Italy’s economic powerhouse. Besides Bologna, this is also the culinary heart of Italy. Nowhere you will eat better pasta than in the Emilia-Romagna region. And don’t forget about all the Mortadella and Parmesan! We put together our top locations for your perfect weekend in Modena. Why not head off there still this year and sample some of the most delicious foods? Moreover, did we mention that the area is home to Ferrari and Lamborghini and their factory tours are just too good to be true?

Mercato Albinelli
Modena’s market is one of our highlights. You can sample balsamic, parmigiana and mortadella. Basically, what Modena is famous for and it’s simply delicious. Take some time to sit down in the middle of the market with your fresh purchases and do not forget to ask for two glasses of pignoletto, Modena’s very own sparkling wine. Closed on Sundays!
